SAVE THE CHILDREN IS LOOKING FOR 3 INTERNS

The EuropeAid/ECHO Partnership Management Unit in Save the Children’s EU office is looking for 3 interns. The unit’s goal is to 1) to ensure that Save the Children capitalizes on donor funding opportunities that are consistent with our strategic and thematic priorities; and 2) to ensure Save the Children engages in efforts to inform and influence donor policies and investment priorities, as appropriate. After 8 months in Brussels, the interns will have the opportunity to go to the field for another 6 months in order to support a Save the Children country office with EuropeAid/ECHO project management.

We aim to provide interns with an opportunity to gain experience in a leading International NGO, learn more about EU fundraising, and obtain skills in donor information management and contract monitoring.

Location: Brussels and field

Duration:14 months (8 in Brussels, 6 in the field)

Starting Date:11th August 2014

Work pattern:5 days per week,7 hours per day

Languages: the principle working language will be English.

Remuneration:the internship is remunerated.
